Ellie We just wanted to let you know that Ellie is adapting very well to her new home. She is absolutely adorable and has quickly found her place in our family. She isn't the least bit shy; she is so friendly and playful. She cries whenever we leave and have to put her in her cage. She's doing well with potty-training; she's learning to go quickly, before the cold and snow get the best of her. She has slept every night in bed with the family and isn't lacking for love and company. Yesterday, she went to the vet to get aquainted and get her schedule set up. They looked over her stitches and found everything well - she'll have her stitches taken out on Monday. Thanks for sending us this little darling to love; she is absolutely terrific (even when she's a stinker)! The Brinks Family

Rascal Here are some pictures of Rascal last summer in Colorado. He loves to travel and live in the trailer. He lives on top the couch in the window. A real busy body, he knows what all the neighbors are doing. He really enjoys 4x4 wheeling in the mountains and exploring. He still has energy after running all day at 12,000 foot altitude. He loves to hike and explore the wild country. We did have to leash him up after a rather large eagle started circling. Rascal is not as hyper as we thought Russell's might be. He's busy most of the day, but by about 9-9:30pm he's ready for bed and heads for his crate by himself. Around 2-3 in the morning he climbs into bed (under the covers) with us and loves to sleep in with Pam. He then gets carried to her chair where he lays her lap for the first couple cups of coffee in the morning. He loves to spend a few hours in the mornings sitting under the Purple Martin house watching the birds. He drives them crazy right now because they have babies in the nest and they scream and swoop at him. We think a few have pecked him because at times he runs with his tail between his legs away from them, but he'll be back tomorrow to do it all over again. He is the perfect companion for us especially RVing. Our plans right now include selling our home and buying a Motorhome in about a year. We will then semi-retire and travel and live in the motorhome full time. R. Heasley

Augie I realize this is three years late, however wanted to enclose some shots of “Copper” born 12/26/2006. You shipped him to my husband in Calhoun, GA as a surprise for me upon my return from a business trip. What a delight he was – thought he was a stuffed toy at first and although he would have nothing to do with me for the first three days, I just let him feel out the ground and he has never been far from my side since and a constant delight! We changed his name and registered him as August Dyson Croc – quite fitting for his demeanor and better known as “Augie”. He adapted and trained quite well and is lost without his best friend and shelter dog, Moose! Although they differ quite a bit in size (Moose is a Great Pyrenees and Golden mix), his fearlessness never deterred him. He is a great friend to the outside Basset and four cats also, although he does love to chase and play, they all love him and put up with his antics.

Dear Sherry, I just wanted to update you on our baby who is turning 3 years old on Sunday. I'm sending you several pictures that my daughter has taken of him for you to see. Rocket, who now has the nickname of "Bear" is a little love. He just oozes personality. He provides non-stop entertainment for us. He is also quite the hunter, much to our chagrin, and the chagrin of about 6 birds, 1 rabbit, a few lizards and a squirrel that he has caught! And while he is quite a terror to local wildlife, he is very shy around others he doesn't know. But he loves his family! We have never had such a special dog. We realize that he is our once in a life time special dog!
How are Rusty and Oreo? We visit your website to dote over all the doxie puppies often! Once again, thank you for sharing so much happiness by making these little vessels of love available to people like us. I can assure you that Rocket gets "tons of love." Take care and God Bless, Tim & Lori & Rocket!
Hey Sherry & Audrey, Just wanted to give you an update on Derby. He is the most awesome little fellow. We just love him! He completed the beginner and intermediate levels of obedience with honors. Haven't had a chance to do the advanced class yet. Hoping to do get the last class in and do some more agility training. He is so smart. Just a joy to be around. He is right at 14 lbs now. Can't imagine life without him. Hope all if well with you. Thanks so much, Danny, Lee & Danny
Hey Sherry! Piper (AKA Boo) has arrived safely and is already on her way to being spoiled rotten! Thanks for all your help! It was a wonderful experience! Chassity
Hi Sherry, This is a picture of me and Ritzi on her new bed. She loves it here in Palo Alto and has just graduated from her puppy classes. At PetSmart, we saw a corgi pup named Rufus who looks just like her! Everyone thinks she is the cutest thing ever. Michelle
He is a star Frisbee player and has even learned to “catch on the fly” so Moose does not outdo him in our evening plays. Since he is definitely Smarter than a 5th Grader – we have all had to make some adjustments. He has a great personality and is definitely the ‘Great Protector’ – nothing gets by him, and he is amazingly set in his ways - which we pay the price for if his ‘daily schedule’ is upset. He loves to motorcycle ride with Tom and is the best geese chaser we have ever found! Thanks again and just wanted to let you know he is doing great and how much we all enjoy him! Stephanie
