My name is Jack Russell and I'm sittin' on go. There's things about me I think you should know. I'm not as hyper as some people say. I'm just
energetic and I love to play. My energy comes from my desire to please. Let me know what you want, I can do it with ease. Be consistent with me, let
me know who's the boss. Remind me each day of lines I can't cross. I am very clever so please don't forget that exercise daily keeps me happy and fit.
My affectionate nature is a fine quality. I'll sit in your lap and we can watch some TV. I was born to hunt small fur bearing prey. Cat's are critters I will
probably slay. Children are great, I love them all, but be cautious of me with babies that crawl. Before I forget, did I happen to mention? I love, I require
lots and lots of attention. Lot's of time to romp, lot's of time for play. I really do need it each and every day. I love to chase all things that move. I have to
catch it, I have something to prove. I'm not very big, about 10 inches tall. Maybe 12 pounds, I'm really quite small. Agile, athletic and yes I am strong.
My tail can be short, my tail can be long. I'm mostly white, with patches of color. My back, brown or tan spots can be larger or smaller. On top of my
head and around my tail, my markings are clear they shouldn't be pale. My coat can be smooth, broken or rough. It's coarse and weatherproof, it is
really quite tough. Hearty am I and I live a long time, 14 to 21 years. Always be mindful of my lesgs and eyes, don't forget my ears. Enjoy my
uniqueness, I am not that unruly. Understand who I am and you will love me truly.
